7 Ways to Bring Magick into Your Everyday

7 Ways to Bring Magick into Your Everyday

Okay, yes. It’s a bit of a cliche, but magick  really is all around us. It’s the intersection of energy and intention after all. You don’t have to go through a formal ritual or put together an elaborate setup every time you want to practice.

Everyday magick doesn’t make your practice any less sacred. In fact, daily practice can make sure your focus, knowledge, and skills stay sharp.

What are our favorite ways to stay magickal throughout the day? Take a look.

Set your intention each day with a tarot or oracle card.

Blessed Be Magick - Card Slinger Cuff Bracelet Rose Gold

Whether you choose to receive messages from oracle cards, tarot, angels, or a combination, you can use your deck to set an intention for the day. Simply pull a card in the morning (or whenever you begin your wakeup routine) and take its central message through your day.

Wear a talisman to attract abundance, love, joy, and anything else you desire.

In the simplest terms, a talisman is a physical object  that you have chosen to, whether directly or indirectly, to direct energy into or imbue with a specific intention. Jewelry, crystals, or even a headband can be used as a talisman and worn throughout the day to strengthen your intention.

Tap into Youtube for music and guided meditations and visualize your desires.

Cast with candle magick.

Blessed Be Magick - Candle Magick

Candle magick is wonderful for beginners. It’s inexpensive and typically doesn’t require a lot of moving parts. There are candles that incorporate crushed gemstones and herbs that help attract your desired outcome. Color and even scent can also be powerful tools to help focus your intention. We like to carve an image or sigil into a spell candle to represent the outcome.

Neutralize negative energy with a cleansing visualization in the shower.

Blessed Be Magick - Cleansing Shower Visualization

Maybe you’ve had a long day or perhaps you just woke up in a funk. To turn that frown upside down and neutralize that negative energy, hop in the shower and visualize. Water is extremely cleansing after all. It can be as simple or intricate as you’d like it to be. As the shower rains down on you, we like to visualize the negativity washed away and going right down the drain.

Use herbs to give your meals flavor and intention.

Blessed Be Magick - Cooking Magick

Intentional cooking is magick on its own. Throughout food prep and cooking, you’re focused on a certain intention - nourishment, joy, love, generosity, gratitude. But, have you thought about choosing your ingredients for their magickal properties? Try adding anise for protection or ginger for success. How about parsley for love or vanilla for lust? That’s one tasty spell.

Raise your vibrations with a nighttime gratitude ritual.

Another cliche for you - gratitude is the attitude! A regular gratitude practice not only makes you feel good, it helps to raise your energetic vibrations, which can have a positive impact on your casting. Everything’s a bit easier when you’re coming from a place of love.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. There are so many ways to infuse your day with magick, so don’t worry if all of these don’t quite work for you.
