How to Enchant Your Clothes for the Day and Use Color to Boost Spellwork

In this article, we'll discuss color correspondences and how to use them to enhance your spells. We'll also provide a spell for enchanting your clothes so that you can have a bit of extra glamour (and magick!) in your life.

Colour Magic

What is Color magick? Well, it's simply using the power of color to affect your mood and energy. This can be done in a number of ways, including wearing certain colors, meditating on colors, or even eating foods that are colored correspond to your intention. For example, if you want to feel more confident, you could wear red clothing. Red is a powerful color that is associated with confidence, strength, and courage. If you want to feel more relaxed and at peace, you could wear blue clothing. Blue is a calming color that is associated with tranquility and serenity.

Spell for Enchanting Your Wardrobe

For this spell you will need:

-A piece of clothing that you want to enchant

-One of the following: red thread, pink ribbon, orange string, purple yarn

-One of the following: green fabric, brown cloth, yellow material

Instructions:

Take the clothing item that you wish to enchant and hold it in your hands. Visualize your intention for the clothing. For example, if you want the clothing to give you confidence, visualize yourself feeling confident and strong. If you want the clothing to help you relax, visualize yourself feeling calm and at peace.

Once you have visualized your intention, tie the corresponding colored thread, ribbon, or string around the item of clothing. As you do this, say the following incantation:

"I enchant this clothing with the power of (color)

May it grant me the strength of (color)

And fill me with the energy of (color)"

After you have tied the thread, ribbon, or string around the clothing item, place the fabric, cloth, or material underneath it. This will absorb the excess energy from the spell. Leave it there for 24 hours before wearing the clothing item. Keep the fabric/cloth/material in your wardrobe or clothes drawers to share the magick to other items of clothing for another day to continue the momentum.

Mirror Magic

A great way to use glamour magick before you leave your home for the day is to do a mirror spell. This is a quick and easy spell that you can do at any time. For this spell, you will need:

-A hand mirror or full length mirror

-One piece of clothing that you want to enchant

-Any other magickal items that you feel called to use (optional)

Instructions:

First, hold your mirror in front of you and look at your reflection. Take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to relax. Then, pick up the piece of clothing that you want to enchant and hold it in front of you. Focus your intention on infusing the clothing with magickal energy. You can say something like, "I charge this clothing with magickal energy to (insert your intention here)."

Then, hold the clothing up to the mirror and visualize your desired outcome. For example, if you are enchanting a shirt to wear on a date, you would visualize yourself having a great time with your date and feeling confident. If you are enchanting a dress to wear to an important meeting, you would visualize yourself being successful, being heard clearly and getting the outcome that you desire.

After you have visualized your desired outcome, hold the clothing to your heart and thank the mirror for amplifying your intention. Then, get dressed and go about your day!

This is a simple spell that you can do anytime you want to add a little extra magick to your day. And, it doesn't have to be just for clothing. You can use this spell for any other items that you want to infuse with magickal energy, like your favorite colored jewelry or other accessories.
